I cannot process STPs an error saying not connected but when calling the ATO many times they are saying everything is fine at that end? Any suggested?

Thanks for posting in the Community!

 

Setting up your Single Touch Payroll is a two way process, first enable it in your payroll account and next is in your ATO Access Manager. And we'll have to make sure to nominate the software provider name Employment Hero with ABN 70 154 693 955 under your hosted SBR in ATO portal.

 

Let's log in to Access Manager using your myGov credentials if you are the eligible associate or authorised staff of the business and follow these steps:

 

  1. From the left menu, select My hosted SBR software services.
  2. Select Notify the ATO of your hosted service.
  3. Search for Employment Hero on the list.
  4. Select the ABN link for Employment Hero.
  5. Enter the software ID and select Next.
  6. Read the Notification statement, then select Save.

If you need your unique software ID for STP, let's use the steps below:

 

  1. Log in to QBO, click on Employees tab.
  2. Click on Payroll Settings.
  3. Click on ATO Settings.

Once the two accounts is fully set up, we should be able to lodge pay events successfully.
