Hi nathan-woolley,
You can run the Leave History Report, which shows pay periods in which leave was accrued and taken. This can be run all or selected employees, and over any date range.
Bonny
When I run this it doesn't take into account any leave taken since the last pay run. How can I get it to adjust once the leave has been approved.
HI Liz_Medius,
Have you tried playing around with the custom date range before running the report to see if it gives you the results you were after?
Also take into consideration the Pay Schedules, Locations & Leave Category type when running this report.
I hope you're able to find the information you're looking for!
Kristian.
Hi Kristian_S,
Thank you for your reply. Yes I have altered the dates to try and capture the information I am after. I have also played around with other settings to see if this can be recognised.
I have also waited overnight to see if it was a process that needed batching.
All to no avail. I am hoping the report will update after I run payroll later this week.
Hi Liz_Medius-
Hmm, shouldn't be taking that long to load the report. How are you accessing QuickBooks: on a computer or a mobile device like an iPad or phone. Additionally, what browser? Chrome, Safari, Firefox?
Keep me posted so we can try a couple different things to get this report to load.

Hi Christine,
The report loads within a minute or two, the issue is that it doesn't update when leave has been updated (ie entered or approved).
For example, I have had 2 staff off sick, one for one day the other for 3 days. This was last week, leave has been entered and approved by Thursday last week. This isn't reflecting in the report when I run it today.
I have similar examples with annual leave, leave without pay and TIL.
I work through Safari or Chrome and use a desktop to access quickbooks online.
Thank you for your help.
It's really hard to say what the issue might be here (if any, might be something else entirely) without seeing the screen and knowing what has been selected.
I would suggest requesting a call-back from our support team, we can give you a call and walk through this with you to see if we can come up with a solution together.
1) In your QuickBooks Online, click the Help menu in the upper-right corner.
2) Select Contact us and enter the details of your concern.
3) Click Let's talk and choose Chat or Get a callback.
4) Enter the needed information.
Hope that we can get to the bottom of this together.
Kristian.
I have the same issue, found no help, but figured this out. Reports>Employees & Payroll>More Payroll Reports in Excel>Employee Sick & Vacation History. That generated what I was looking for, hope this helps.
