Lodge Pay Run-Incorrect Log ID

To whom it may concern, 

 

My client has informed that she sees a name (circled with red pen) coming up that she does not recognize.

You'll find the attached screenshot for this issue.

When I log in to lodge pay run for this client, I do not have any problem.

 

Please advice my client what to do.

It looks like this client's name in their account in the Payroll section is incorrect - this can come about if their login was previously used by someone else attached to the company. In order to correct this, you can follow the steps below: 

  1. Advise the client to sign into their company using their regular QuickBooks login
  2. Go to the Employees section and select Payroll Settings
  3. Under the Advanced column, click on My Account
  4. Update the Name to reflect the client's correct name

This will update the system to reflect the correct name when you are acknowledging to lodge the pay run. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to reach out on 1800 046 038 and we'll be happy to walk you through this further!
