Billable Expenses

Hi,

I can't seem to categorize my expenses as billable. I have gone to account and settings but do not have the  below options. Please help. TIA

  • Show Items table on expense and purchase forms
  • Track expenses and items by customer.
  • Make expenses and items billable.

Billable Expenses

Hi there, Dobby1981.

 

The Billable expense is currently available in the QuickBooks Online PLUS version. If you're subscribed with Simple Start or Essentials version, you'll have to upgrade your subscription to PLUS to be able to use the billable expense feature.

 

Here's how you can upgrade your subscription:

 

  1. Click on the Settings icon or Cog wheel icon.
  2. Click on Account & Settings.
  3. Click on Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks Online section, click on Upgrade your plan.
  5. Review the plans and pricing available, and click on Choose plan.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the upgrade.
