When importing bank transactions using a CSV downloaded from my Bank, I keep getting this error. I have troubleshoot all the common errors, but keep getting the same error. I am importing December Quarter Deposits, file size is much smaller that maximum, file format is CSV, headings of columns match, date format is correct, data format matches the instructions. Am I missing something?

Hi BroPar,
Thank you for posting in the Community. Let's try to check your CSV file and ensure that the file doesn't break any of these restrictions.
Also, please make sure that your CSV file format has the following columns only: Date, Description and Amount or Date, Description, Debit, Credit.

Thanks Anika for the quick response,
I had read this prior but gave the csv another look over, cleaned the data further removing anything except letters from the descriptions and tried again to import but had the same result. Is there anything else that could cause this error? There are 643 entries over 91 days, could that be an issue?
Brodie
Thanks for getting back to us, BroPar.
Are there other columns in your CSV file aside from the Date, Description, and Amount? If so, we'd recommend removing those columns as QuickBooks Online is unable to read that information. Please refer to the sample CSV format below.
Furthermore, have you tried to copy the CSV file to a new worksheet and format each columns and make sure it followed the accepted CSV format in QuickBooks Online. You can refer to this article to learn more about Common errors for importing bank transactions using CSV.
If the issue persist, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to help check your CSV file in a secure form.
As always feel free to reply to this thread if you have other questions. We'll be here to get back and help you.
