Landed Cost

Hi there, @CJS92.

A landed cost is the total amount of money it costs to fulfill an order for a customer. It can include expenses, such as raw materials, shipping fees, duties, taxes, and other incurred costs. I can see how calculating landed costs is important in any industry that ships physical products.

For now, it's only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. Rest assured that I'll relay this message to our team in concern here on my end and add your vote for this one. You can also share your thoughts and ideas through your account. Our product development team reviews all the feedback we receive to ensure we’re meeting the needs of our customers.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
    undefined
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
  3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
  4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.

For your reference, check out this link: How to Submit Feedback

In the meantime, you may consider having a third-party app that has the functionality to calculate landed costs. You can check out our Intuit App Center to look for one.

Stay in touch if you have any other questions or concerns. I’ll be right here to answer them for you. Enjoy the rest of the day.

You have to calculate and register it manually into your account. Another option, consider having a 3rd party app to do so and integrate it with your QBO.
