my desktop files are .qdf from quicken2013 deluxe version. MMC data shows upload to cloud starts from version 2014. What to do?
Hi Laurie49,
Thank you so much for your question! Welcome to QuickBooks Online!
Unfortunately, if the version of Quicken that you are currently using isn't supported by MMC, you won't be able to import through MMC.
There are a few options for you though so you can import your data in. If you are able to export your data from Quicken into a CSV or Excel file, you can import the following information to QuickBooks Online:
This article will explain the common questions about importing data to QuickBooks: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-au/manage-lists/common-questions-about-importing-data...
Alternatively, if you aren't able to export your data from Quicken, you will need to manually create opening balances in QuickBooks Online to start using your QuickBooks Online file. This article will help to explain how to manually enter your opening balances: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-au/bank-deposits/enter-opening-balances-for-accounts-...
Thank you,
Georgia
You may open a new blank QBO account
https://quickbooks.grsm.io/Australia
then you may have some options to consider:
1. Find and install a trial license of Quicken 2014 or later to upgrade your file.
2. Prepare your data in XLS and utilize an importer tool
https://transactionpro.grsm.io/qbo
3. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
