Deleting Added transactions from Connect to Square app

  • Is it possible after adding transactions (twice accidentally) from the "connect to Square app to delete them completely from quickbooks to start over again ? I have multiple double ups ..it's a mess

Deleting Added transactions from Connect to Square app

Welcome to Community, marnierose. I'm here to make sure you'll be able to delete added transactions from Connect to Square App in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

If your Square and bank account are connected in QuickBooks Bank feeds, you can exclude the transactions in your bank account and delete them. This is done to avoid duplicate transactions especially if you've integrated your Square application to your QuickBooks company to download the transactions.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Choose the appropriate bank account.
  3. Click the For Review tab.
  4. Select the checkboxes of the transactions you want to exclude.
  5. From the Batch actions drop-down button, choose Exclude Selected.

 

Then, we can now start deleting them:

 

  1. On the same page, click the Exclude tab.
  2. Select the checkboxes of the transactions you want to delete.
  3. From the Batch actions drop-down button, choose Delete.

 

Please know that deleting transactions will permanently erase them from your records. If you will still use that certain transaction, we can exclude it instead.
