When you sign up and create your QuickBooks Online, it automatically sets your home currency. If you've turned on the multi-currency feature, you're unable to change your home currency.
You can assign currencies to your customers, suppliers, and accounts in the chart of accounts.
If you need to, you can change your home currency.
If you're unable to edit your home currency, it means you've enabled the multi-currency feature.
