Please know this isn't the experience we want you to encounter, Michael. I'll share some insights into how important the passkey is, and guide you through the process of deleting them in QBO.
Before we begin, it's important to note that QuickBooks Passkeys are secure digital keys saved on your device, making them a simpler and safer option than passwords. They protect against phishing and remove the need to remember passwords or get codes via SMS.
Additionally, you can follow the steps below to delete your passkey in QBO :
- Sign in to your Intuit Account. Use the sign-in info you use for QuickBooks.
- Select Sign in & security.
- Select Passkeys.
- Find the passkey you want to delete.
- Select Delete, then select Delete Passkey.

Once done, please know that you should also remove it from your device’s password manager to prevent it from appearing as an autofill suggestion when you next sign in. You can generally find your password manager in the Settings or Security section of your device; just search for the specific website or app name, like Intuit to find and delete the passkey.
Also, you can read this page to learn how to update the security settings of your Intuit account and safeguard your personal and financial information: Update your Intuit account’s security settings.
Moreover, here's an article you can check to learn how to access your Intuit Account and download your personal data. Access and manage your personal data from your Intuit Account.
