How do you open a client within your company in the iPhone app?

I have a company and in that I have a client (both myself). I downloaded the app, but can only see the company, cannot see the client. I want to be able to snap receipts and easily upload them, but unable to as client cannot be accessed in the app.

How do you open a client within your company in the iPhone app?

Thanks for taking the time to post in the Community, equiscene.

I'll share some insights about accessing your clients through the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app using an iPhone.

For you to be able to access your clients through the QBO app, you'll need an additional app. Let me guide you through the steps in finding an app.

Here's how:

  1. Select Apps from the left menu.
  2. Go to the Find apps tab, then enter the app name that you want to add. You can also select the Browse category to check out more apps that you can connect to.

Now, let's install the app.

  1. After finding the app that fits your needs, select Get App Now.
  2. Choose your firm or client from the Install for your Client dropdown menu.
  3. Hit Install, and authorize QuickBooks to share your data with the app.
  4. Configure any sync preferences, then tap Save & Sync.

Please note that not all apps can be synced to a client. The app will notify about this limitation.

You can visit this article to view and interact with the apps that are tied to your client's company: View client apps.

Moreover, I'm adding this article as your reference in handling invoices you can't collect using the Write Off Invoice tool: Write off invoices in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Return to this post if you have other concerns about accessing your clients through QBO in the iPhone app.
