It would be awesome to duplicate your company's data, lynda.

As of now, we're unable to create a duplicate copy of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) file, then move it to a new subscription. Instead, we can export your reports, lists, and other data from QBO and import them to your other account.

Here's how to export your reports or lists:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Export Data.
  2. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  3. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  4. Select Export to Excel.

Exported reports will only include the posting transactions. To export the non-posting information, please see this article: Export Data, Reports, Lists, and More from QuickBooks Online.

Once done, we can now import the data to your new account. However, there are other transactions that we can't migrate. To add them, we'll have to enter them manually to keep your record accurate.

To add an extra subscription, you can visit our Plans and Pricing page to select the right product for your business.

Additionally, you can access your QBO accounts with the same sign-in info. Doing so lets you quickly switch between companies to manage everything more efficiently. For visual reference, I've added a screenshot below.

Please keep us posted if you need additional assistance moving your data. We aim to guarantee a smooth and effortless migration process for you.

@lynda-erwin

Consider to purchase a 3rd party service to do so or use a migration tool.
