Hi dr-caroline-chan,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community!

 

If the pay category was unused in the pay run, we can delete them from the list. If a pay category was used on a pay run, we're unable to delete them on file. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on Payroll settings.
  3. Click on Pay categories.
  4. Locate the pay category and hover your mouse to the pay category and click on the red X icon.
  5. Click on it and click Delete to confirm the action.

That's it. If you are unable to delete the pay category, you can change the name to Do not use to avoid usign the duplicate pay category.
