I have been unable to connect the bank feed to Suncorp for 2 days now. Started with Error 185, however I have reset the login details just to check and no connnection

I have been unable to connect the bank feed to Suncorp for 2 days now. Started with Error 185, however I have reset the login details just to check and no connnection

I understand how concerning it can be to encounter issues connecting your bank feed, and I appreciate you taking the initiative to reset your login details in an effort to resolve the issue, Simon.
 

Error 185 indicates that the financial institution requires an additional security step. This involves entering a One-Time Passcode (OTP) or answering security questions (multi-factor authentication).
 

Some banks may require completing these security steps for every attempt to fetch transactions into QuickBooks. If you didn't complete them, this is the reason you are unable to connect to your Bank feed.
 

You have two option to fix the error either contact the bank to disable tokenization, or complete the security steps every time to receive updated bank feed transactions.
 

If tokenization is disabled, QuickBooks will be able to connect automatically and receive transactions without requiring further authentication forward.
 

If disabling tokenization isn’t preferable, you can complete the authentication steps manually, such as entering the OTP or answering the required security questions. This will allow QuickBooks to fetch transactions successfully.
