Dashboard is showing FY23/24 instead of FY24/25

The only things on my dashboard thats correct is the "sales" & "mileage".

Profit and loss which Ive clicked on "this financial year" is showing last financial year as are "expenses"

Why isnt this updating with todays totals being the 1st of July 2024 (start of my new financial year)
Have been on phone support for last half hour and got absolutely no where.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Dashboard is showing FY23/24 instead of FY24/25

Hi Mel,

I understand you're having fundamental issues with the figures displayed in your Dashboard in QuickBooks Online. Let's check the current settings in your QBO file to verify the accounting method used. Here's how:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click on Account and Settings.
  3. Click on Advanced.
  4. Click on Accounting method and locate First month of financial year. Check if you have it in July.
  5. Check also the First month of tax year is Same as financial year.

Once done, let's run the Dashboard page again and verify if the issue persists or not.

In the meantime, can we double check and run the Profit and Loss report in Reports tab to verify if the figure shown when running This Financial year is correct? Here's how to run the report:

  1. Click on Reports tab.
  2. Click on Profit and Loss report.
  3. Set a Report period and the accounting method.
  4. Click on Run report.

If the issue remains, I recommend contacting back our Customer Care Team. As this may need to be escalated to our senior support.

Post again in the Community if you have other QuickBooks Online concerns. I am around to help you.

Hi Sheila, thanks for your reply.

Our settings for 1st month FY and Tax are correct and both set to July.

Running the report for this financial year yields the correct results which is what should be shown in the dashboard.

I have already wasted enough time speaking with customer service which I could barely hear or understand, effectively getting me nowhere so if it needs to be escalated how about we get that done here or have a local support person call me.
Thanks
