Two different accounts have the same balance.

I have a savings account and maxi saver that have the same bank balance. I only use savings account.

Two different accounts have the same balance.

I'll make sure that you'll get an accurate bank balance at the end of the day, youraira1.

 

It's possible that there are duplicate entries downloaded to your Maxi Saver account, that's why they have the same balance as the savings account. To isolate the issue, you can review the bank transactions under your Maxi Saver account in the Banking tab.

 

  1. Select Transactions or Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the Maxi Saver account.
  4. Review the transactions in the For review and Categorized tab.

If there are duplicates, you can exclude them to ensure that your records are accurate and up-to-date.

 

Alternatively, you may compare the balance with your real-life account. Here's how to check it against your bank records:
 

  1. Sign in to your bank's website or find your bank statement.
  2. Check the account's balances.
  3. Compare the amount of each transaction.

If there are transactions that didn't match, you'll have to correct them in your bank register:

 

  1. Select Accounting from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to Chart of Accounts, then choose the appropriate bank account.
  3. Locate and click the transaction to expand the view.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Make the necessary corrections.
  6. When you're done, hit Save.
