Why are my bank feed transactions coming in as Deposits, not Expenses as they have done prior to today?

In the past the transactions are categorized either as an Expense or a Deposit which has been correct. Now all the transaction brought in by bank feeds are being categorized as Deposits. I have not altered any Settings or changed any information. Could it be the bank changing its banking app?

Can I ask which bank account you're having issues with? As of now, there isn't any reported incident with the unexpected behavior encountered when downloading bank feeds. To isolate the situation encountered, let's exclude the transaction and manually update or refresh your bank feeds. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Transactions tab.
  2. Click on Bank transactions.
  3. Select the bank account and select the transactions showing as deposits instead of expenses.
  4. Click on Exclude.

Then, manually refresh or update the bank account. Here's how:

  1. From the Bank transactions page, click on Refresh button.
  2. Check if new transactions are downloaded correctly.
  3. If none, click on the Pencil icon of the bank account.
  4. Click on Edit sign in info.
  5. Manually enter your bank's user id and password.
  6. Complete prompts and verify if transactions is showing correctly.
