I understand however with the WorkZone app it is primarily for employee's as access through to the app is through invitation via the payroll system managed by the employer or administrators. That being said there is still options available for you through KeyPay to upload documents to each of your employee's profiles, please see the steps below to action this:
This way, when the employee's sign into the WorkZone app and follow the instructions they will be able to view the documents you upload. Doing this will provide you the 'back-end' access you require to provide these uploads to your employees.
Let me know if that helps,

Hi brittany-bertsch,
Yes there is an ability to add in business related documents into WorkZone. I encourage you to click here to get a video run down on how you go about managing documents with WorkZone for employees. Alternatively as well you can click here for an article guide as well.
Thanks,
-Steven
Hi Steven
Thanks, but I am not an employee I am the business owner so this information doesnt help me. I can find endless information online as to how EMPLOYEES can access documents within WorkZone, but nothing related to how EMPLOYERS can upload this information. There isn't even any information on how employers create a WorkZone account / access the area where to upload documents. Everything only ever talks about Employees (as you have).
Can you please help with something realised to how EMPLOYERS access WorkZone (i.e. in the 'back end') and upload documents to each of their employees profiles?
Thanks

Ah fantastic! Thank you so much!
Uploading a document in this tab is not working for me. It shows the document loading but there is no way to save it. Can anyone advise?
Hi BlkFlgFan,
Thank you for reaching out.
So that we can better support team, do you mind clarifying where you are trying to upload document, and what format and size of the document you are trying to upload, please?
Thank you.
Hi, I am also experiencing the same problem.
I had minimise the document to pdf to 148 kb but it shows the doc is uploading but it can't be saved. I did it before with a document (pdf and more than 148kb) and that was uploaded and saved.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you .
Hi SeedDC,
The file upload size limit is up to 10MB when uploading employee documents in QuickBooks Online Payroll. If your file is larger than the limit, you'll have to reformat or break down your file before uploading.
As for situation, you'll have to re-save the file and make sure that the file name has no spaces and special characters on it.
Furthermore, we'd recommend using an incognito window or private browser or a different supported browser too to isolate the situation. The incognito window does not save your browsing history and cache making a good place to check your web data issues.
Here's how:
Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: press Command + Shift + N
Then, log in to your QuickBooks account and attempt to upload the employee document once ore. If it went through fine, you may want to clear your browser's cache.
Let me know how it went! You can drop a comment below and I'll be sure to get back to you.
Dear IntuitSheila,
Thank you for the prompt reply. I tried again at night and this time, it went through without much hassle.
All is good for now and thank you so much for the response. Appreciate you for it.
Warmest regards,
DC
