You can unlock and re-finalise the pay run if there are no automated super payments made on it. Otherwise, to make a correction or edit the pay run, it's best to create an ad-hoc pay run and then, submit an updated pay event to the ATO. An ad-hoc pay run is the same as creating a regular pay run.
To unlock a pay run:
- Click on the Employees tab.
- Click on Pay Runs.
- Locate and select the pay run to unlock.
- Click on Pay Run Actions, and select Unlock.
- Enter a reason to unlock the pay run, and click on Unlock.
Once the pay run is unlocked, you can make the corrections and finalise it once more. You can check this link for a more detailed information on how to unlock and create an ad-hoc pay run:
