Hello. Why is the Award hourly rate in QuickBooks different to the Award hourly rate that FWO provides?

Hi warrenjankowskie,

Thanks for your post in the Community!

Let's make sure you've updated the awards in QuickBooks Online Payroll making sure it matches with FWO. Here's how to update your awards in QBO:

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on Payroll Settings.
  3. Click on Manage Awards.
  4. Locate the award name and click on Install or Update.

If you are using a rule sets, I recommend also checking your rule sets and pay categories to make sure they do not override. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Payroll settings.
  2. Click on Rules Sets.
  3. Locate the rule sets created for the awards.
  4. Reserve custom rules: will only appear if custom rules have been created and activated within the award's pay condition rule set and the option 'Update rule sets' is set to "Yes".

To check the pay rates:

  1. Click on the Employee name.
  2. Click on Pay Rates.
  3. Check if under pay rates Override is ticked or not.
  4. Untick Override if it is turned on.

if the issue persists I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can check your payroll set up in a secure way.
