Hi, can I add stood down hours in a payslip ? I have it in the pay run but would like to be able to see stood down hours on the payslip as well, is this possible ?

for example employee 1 has 50 ordinary hours and 26 stood down hours in a fortnightly pay run, but only the 50 hours is listed on the actual pay slip.

Hi Rory,

 

Ensure that you haven't hidden the Stand Down pay category from payslips. To check this:

 

  1. Select the Gear Icon on the top-right corner of QuickBooks, then select Payroll Settings under the Settings column.
  2. Navigate to the Pay Run Settings section on the left menu, then select Pay Categories.
  3. Find the Stand Down pay category from the list and select it. 
  4. Make sure Hide units on Pay Slip is unticked, then select Save.

From there, generate new pay slips from the pay run and the Stand Down pay category should show up.
