I have changed my business and have a new ABN . I now have a new Qbo file and got my keypay switched to this account. I was doing STP in my old file but it was under the old ABN. I have contacted ATO and registered the new ABN against my keypay software id. ATO advised me that I need to change my ABN in Quickbooks . Can you please help me find out where can I change the ABN in Quickbbooks and also ensure that all the new payruns are done under correct ABN.

In order to change your ABN in the employee tab you will need to go through the following steps:
1. Login into Quickbooks
2. Click on the "Employees" on the left hand menu side.
3. Click on "Payroll settings" followed by "Details"
4. You can change the ABN under the ABN settings
Note: Once the ABN is changed in the details field, that will change the ABN in All payslips going forward, and to the ATO when submitting Single touch payroll (STP).
