How do I create a pay slip

Welcome to the Community, pip_sheedy1982-o. 

 

You can generate a pay slip once you process a pay run in QuickBooks. Let me guide you on how to process a pay run. 

 

  1. Select Employees tab.
  2. Select New pay run
  3. Select a Pay Schedule, Pay Period Ending and Pay Period Ending.
  4. Select Create
  5. Add the employees. 
  6. Select each employee's name to expand the breakdown of earnings, and select the Actions button if any changes need to be made.
  7. Once you've finished, select Finalise Pay Run.

You can view the pay slip by clicking on Draft Pay Slips if the pay run is not finalised and Pay Slips if it is finalised. If you wanted to view the pay slips created on a particular employee, go to Employees tab and after you select an employee go to Pay Slips
