How do I create a payrun from approved Timesheet?

I have approved the time sheets submitted by my employees however when I do a pay run I cannot find them. Can you tell me what I have done wrong?

How do I create a payrun from approved Timesheet?

First step is to make sure time sheets are actually approved.

 

Note: Approving time sheets in external software does not mean it is approved in Quick Books


To check that,

  • Go to the Employees tab
  • Click on manage employees
  • Click on approve time sheets
  • Select the same pay period the pay run will be based on

Ensure status of time sheet by selecting Any from the Status drop down.

 

If no approved time sheets are showing on this screen that means the time sheets have not been imported or incorrect location selected


To import time sheets,:

  • Go back to manage employees then click on import time sheets
  • Select the same pay period the pay run will be based on and Software to be imported from (Quick Books in the case of T sheets)
  • Ensure Pay schedule is using time sheets
  • Select Import and approve the time sheets
  • Create and import time sheets from the Create new pay run option
