Hi Shereey,
Is it possible to grant the manager access to KeyPay as a user, which would be separate to QuickBooks login. To do this you would be looking at going to the Manage Users section within the payroll system.
Next, the manager will need to look out for an email invitation sent to them and accept, followed by setting up a password login. From there they will be able to login in directly here. Once signed in they
will be able to access the employee's leave balances by view each employee's Employee Details.
Thanks
-Steven
Thanks for your reply Steven,
The managers have restricted access in Manage Users, and I have given them report access of which I have assigned the Leave Balances report from Quickbooks.
This leave balances report then can be accessed by the manager via KeyPay. So that solves that problem.
Another question, though, is that we don't want the managers to be able to see the $$ value of the leave balances report. (only the hours). You can 'hide values', but only after the report is generated. Is there another report I can use that hides these $$ balances?
Hi shereey,
Unfortunately, with the report access this will include the dollar value of the leave balances reports as they are a part of the overall reporting. Without exporting the report to excel yourself, removing the dollar values before sending it to the manager, if they wish to view it themselves the dollar figures will be visible. This is because whilst there is an option of Hide Leave Values within the report, they will have control whether or not to select it.
