After you've finalised your pay run, payroll journals are automatically exported to QuickBooks Online. Let's check if the default accounts set on your Chart of Accounts are active.
Here's how:
- Go to Employees tab and select Payroll Settings.
- Select Chart of Accounts.
- Select Default Accounts.
- Check if all default accounts are active.
You can also check on the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online to ensure that the default accounts you've set for payroll are active by going to Transactions tab and select Chart of Accounts.
If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to further check your account in a secured form.
