I am facing an issue when submitting the payrun to the ATO. After submission, the status changes to FAILED. Could you please advise what might be causing this issue?

I am facing an issue when submitting the payrun to the ATO. After submission, the status changes to FAILED. Could you please advise what might be causing this issue?

I appreciate you for reporting the issue you're facing in Pay run submission, @monilg.

 

Could you please confirm if this is your first time filing your Payrun to the ATO, and how you enabled the STP lodgement?

 

You can verify information on the ATO portal or by contacting them directly.

 

If you did it manually, you may have entered your ABN number incorrectly. Please double-check it when entering.

 

To review this, you can:

 

  • Payroll tab
  • Payroll settings
  • ATO settings
  • Electronic lodgment and STP, then eCheck, and the Software provider (that should be Employment Hero) Software ID is unique in every payroll account.

 

You can then go to the Access Manager to check if the details that you've provided and the ABN in Employment Hero are the same.
