I can not finalise the last pay run ending 24/12. Staff have been paid. I have entered BPay details. I pay staff individually as I only have 6 staff.

Hi hansen-chris,

Are you able to give me some more information as to why the pay run would not finalise?

Is there any kind of error message or warnings that come up at all?

Hi. The pay run is showing as unfinalised. I open Pay Run and press Finalise Pay Run. It then says that "You are about to finalise pay run" but there is nowhere to press finalise. There are options about ABA and entering BPay but I do not understand the relevance of that because I pay the staff and we only have 6 staff.

Hi hansen-chris,

When you select Finalise Pay Run there should be a green button labeled Finalise next to another white button labeled Cancel.

Can you confirm that you cannot see this green Finalise button?

That is right. When I press 'Finalise Pay Run" the box that appears with "You are about to finalise the pay run" contains no boxes on the screen,

OK, I want to confirm that this isn't a browser issue before we get into any further in-depth troubleshooting.
Could you please use an incognito/private window on either Chrome or FireFox and log into Quickbooks from there to see if you have the same issue?

Not sure if you ever fixed this.  had the problem today so searched for a solution. Nothing. Then I started playing around. 

Did you have bookmarks open on the toolbar? I did. I hid them and it worked perfectly. It was like there wasn't enough room for the "finalise' button to be on the screen.

Hi Toddske, 

 

This is quite common if you're using a laptop however, if you zoom out using the Ctrl and - (minus) buttons you should see the finalise button appear. 

 

You can then zoom back in with Ctrl +

Thank you so much, I’ve just ran into this for the first time & was getting a little frustrated with it, but you fix has worked a treat.
