Leave Allowance Templates

1. Make sure that your leave categories are set up correctly by going to payroll settings and then select leave categories. (Not all settings can be adjusted directly on the template)

2. To update template go to the Payroll settings Leave Allowance Templates page > click on the name of the leave template > enable, disable or adjust accruals as you wish > click save. (Quick Tip: the best way to guarantee a leave category will not accrue is to 0 out the units for it)

Note: Once you click save you’ll be notified if there are employees already linked to the leave template and you’ll be asked if you want to apply the changes to all linked employees. System will keep the historical data so any changes will take effect moving forward and will not affect existing payruns (Manual adjustments may be required).
