No notifications from the SWAG

Employee no longer receive notification when a new payslip is available etc from the SWAG app. When go to the settings, the only option available is turning Face ID on or off.

Hi Edyan,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community!

 

Let's check your payroll settings making sure the employee has a correct email address to get pay slip notification. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab, and click on Payroll Settings.
  2. Click on Employee Portal Settings.
  3. Under Settings, check the options available.
  4. Click on Access tab, verify if the email address of the employee is correct.

Next, let's check also the employee's Pay run default:

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on the employee name.
  3. Click on Pay run defaults.
  4. Locate Pay Slip Notifications, and verify the option selected.
  5. From here we can also toggle it to None, click Save.
  6. Change it back to Email once more, then Save.

While under employee details, let's check the Detail tab as well to verify the email address entered is correct.

 

It's also possible that the employers email is being blocked due to the nature of the system. You should add [email address removed] as your from email address email under Payroll settings > Payslips.

 

They should also ensure that the email [email address removed] is  added as a safe sender to the employees emails.

Thanks. I have checked all these steps and they are all correct.

 

We still receive notification by email and app notification from the Workzone app. However, the new SWAG app does not provide any notification at all.

Hello Edyan,

 

The Workzone app has been transitioned to SWAG. They have the same functionality and employee should still be getting the notifications based on what is set up in the Employ portal settings, Pay slips settings and Pay run defaults.

 

I recommend also checking the set up in your Swag app. Here's how:

 

  1. Log into the Swag app.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. Along the top bar, tap on the bell icon to view notifications. If you have a red dot next to your bell icon, that means that you have new notifications to view.
  4. Tap on the desired notification to view further details.

Another settings you can also check is through the profile picture in the Swag app. 

 

  1. Click on Swag app and log in.
  2. Tap on the profile picture or your initials in the top right corner.
  3. Tap on Settings.
  4. Click on Notification Settings.
  5. Under the Send me notifications only subheading, choose how you want to be notified.
  6. Tap on Save.

 

If the issue persists, I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can further check your payroll account and settings and escalate the situation encountered.
