QuickBooks Online Payroll Subscription Fee confirmation

Hi, Dear All!

 

I have two question, Will appreciate if any QuickBooks expert clear my these two confusions. 

 

Question No. 1

I have an Australia based client who is interested to use QuickBooks Online Payroll. QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription fee for Australia is different then As US region. What I understand QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription fee for Australia is as following. 

 

(1) Standard Payroll: $ 0 monthly fee + $5/month per employee paid. Screenshot: https://paste.pics/J63LV

(2) Advanced Payroll: $ 10 monthly fee + $5/month per employee paid. Screenshot: https://paste.pics/J63M7

 

$5 per employee only applicable if client use direct deposit option. It means if my client choose standard plan. QuickBooks Online Payroll is free for him without using direct deposit feature. Is it really Standard Payroll free in Australia (Without using direct deposit option)?

 

Question No. 2:

If a client want to use Standalone payroll (Only QuickBooks Payroll) and not needed any QuickBooks online subscription. For US region it is possible. But when I go through and search standalone Payroll plan for Australia region it say's you need QuickBooks Online OR QuickBooks Accountant account to use QuickBooks Payroll.

QuickBooks Online Payroll Subscription Fee confirmation

Let me share with you some information about QuickBooks Payroll subscription fee. 

 

For Standard Payroll, you will be charged $5.00 (incl. GST) per month for each ‘active employee’ paid using QuickBooks Payroll. An ‘active employee’ is one who has been paid at least once in the billing month. For Advanced Payroll, there is an additional monthly subscription fee of $10 (incl GST). 

 

QuickBooks Payroll is only accessible via QuickBooks Online subscriptions. This means you'll need to have an active QuickBooks Online account to use QuickBooks Payroll.
