SBR.GEN.AUTH.006,I've called ATO to registered ABN and software ID, but the payroll still cannot lodge to ATO.

Hello userrachel-xiao,

Thanks for posting in the Community about setting up your Single Touch Payroll (STP) in QuickBooks Online. SBR.GEN.AUTH.006 means no authorisation/notification is available in QBO and ATO to lodge pay events electronically.

Setting up STP in QuickBooks Online Payroll is a two-way setup process. First, complete the setup in your payroll settings, and last, activate STP via the ATO Access manager or by calling the ATO.

Let's check your payroll settings if it is showing enabled/active. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on Payroll Settings.
  3. Choose ATO Settings.
  4. Click on Electronic Lodgment & STP.
  5. You'll see the Software provider name and your unique Software ID.

Take note of the software ID and let's log in to your ATO Access manager account and make sure you have nominated the Software provider name Employment Hero with ABN (70 154 693 955).

If you don't have access to your Access manager file, call the ATO and provide the information above.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you need further help about your STP. I'll be around to help you.
