In some cases, pay event might not lodge and is stuck on status "Waiting on response from ATO" for several days and is still processing.
This could be due to a long wait in Queue as ATO might have back log or their system was down for maintenance. Another reason this can happen is when pay events are lodged out of chronological order.
If it has been more than 72 hours, you should
Step 1: Contact ATO to verify if lodgement has been received by them. If it has been submitted the options are to ignore it or have the status updated via contacting our payroll escalation team.
If not
Step 2: Wait for pay event to cancel and re-submit
or
Contact our support team to get the this lodgement cancelled and then re-lodge.
Note: If pay events are ever lodged out of chronological order you should finish the process with an update event
