When entering an smsf details for an employee, it asks for external id and email address. What are these?

According to the ATO, all the employee needs to give me is:
1. ABN
2. BSB and bank account number for payments
3. ESA (electronic service address) for contribution data.

But Quickbooks asks for a fund email and an external id.  What are these?

These are just additional information fields and are not mandatory. To know more about these fields and where to get them, I’d recommend reaching out to KEYPAY. You can get in touch with them through the steps below:

 

  1. Click on the Help (?) icon.
  2. Select Assistant and enter Contact support in the chat field, and then click the Send icon.
  3. You'll be asked about your concern, and you'll need to enter and send it.
  4. If you can't see any related topics to your issue on what they shared, select No, get me a human.
  5. Then, click Contact Us.
  6. Choose either Callback or Chat.
