Hi,
I've been using Quickbooks for 3 years but have only started using the banking options this year. I successfully connected with OCBC bank and was pretty happy reconciling quickbooks with my bank account. In the most recent "Update" from the banking tab, I noticed there was a large gap in quickbooks.
It downloaded everything until August 5 and only continued downloading after August 14. That means, nothing was downloaded into Quickbooks from August 6 - August 13. I checked my bank account and indeed there was activity during that period. What could be the issue here?
Anyone else in Singapore facing the same issue with OCBC bank?
Welcome to the Community, @audreychew.
You've got me here to share details on how your bank transactions are being transmitted in QuickBooks Online.
QuickBooks Online is dependent on the entries that were sent from your financial institution. However, if the transactions are not downloaded in the system, you'll need to check on your bank to verify if they have any ongoing maintenance that may lead to that issue that you're experiencing.
If there is no problem with the bank, you can run the manual update in QBO to refresh the online banking connection. This downloads the latest available transactions from your bank.
To do that:
QuickBooks will get the recently available transactions every night around 10 PM PT. Most financial institutions usually download them the day after they post to their website. Some may take a little longer, depending on your bank.
To give you more details on what are the best things to do if bank entries are not syncing in QBO, please check out this link: Learn what to do if you don’t see your recently downloaded bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Otherwise, you can manually download and import them if still not syncing after 24 hours. Feel free to read through this article for instructions and detailed steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Let me know if you have any other questions about this or with QuickBooks, I'll make sure you're all set. Have a good one!
Hi @audreychew , a workaround you could upload the bank transactions manually with this easy importer tool https://transactionpro.grsm.io/qbo . Glad to assist you.
