Receive payments records not appearing in the banking

Hello there, meritmanage.

 

Let's resolve the issue with recording transactions. I'll take that the payment didn't populate on the Banking page.

 

If so, there may be a delay, thus resulting in the missing payment. Let's log into your financial institution's page and see if the payment is listed there. From there, let's bring it in by manually updating the connection.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. From the Banking tab, select Banking.
  2. Click Update.

 

If you're still unable to see the transaction, you can upload it manually.

 

However, if you receive the payment manually on the Receive Payment page, it may be stored using the Undeposited Funds. If so, you'll have to make a deposit first, and it will show on the Banking page.

 

Once done, you can categorise the transaction to ensure they're on the correct accounts. I've added this article as your guide: Categorise transactions.
