Hi there, aftabamin38-gmai

Let's get rid of the error so you can log in to QuickBooks Online (QBO) and use the GST feature. Based on the error, you don't have the admin role or aren't permitted to access QBO.

You'll want to secure the login credentials or make sure you're added as a user. Otherwise, you'll receive an error when opening QBO. I suggest consulting the master admin of the QBO company for this.

Once you have access, use this link to access the Taxes page: QBO Singapore. Then, set up GST by following the steps I've outlined below.

  1. Go to Taxes and select Set up tax.
  2. Enter the Tax name, Description, and Tax agency name.
  3. Enter the Business ID no (optional).
  4. Choose a Start of current tax period.
  5. Select your tax Filing frequency for GST.
  6. Choose a Reporting Method (usually it'll be Accrual, but if in doubt, please consult your accountant).
  7. Enter the Sales rate, then mark This tax is applicable on purchases, if applicable.
  8. Click Next, then select OK.

Once done, add tax categories and other tax information. Use this link for instructions and detailed steps: Learn how to set up and use the GST feature in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how this goes by commenting below. I'll stay around until you're able to access QBO and set up the GST feature.
