We have an ongoing issue where customers encounter banking error 101 when connecting HSBC Hongkong bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Our engineers are still working for the permanent fix.
In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions into QBO. Once the connection issue is fixe, you can exclude any duplicate transactions in the Banking page. Just follow the steps and details in this article: Exclude
expenses from downloaded bank transactions.
Then, please reach out to our Customer Support Team to add you to the list of the affected users. They'll send you an email update once the issue is fixed.
