How to migrate data from closed quickbook account to a new quick book account

I'd be glad to provide information on how to migrate data in QuickBooks, @Phing.

We can export reports and lists from your previous QuickBooks Online to your new one. These include the following data:

  • Reports: General Ledger, Profit, and Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Journal.
  • Lists: Customers, Employees, Suppliers.

To proceed, here's how:

  1. Choose the Settings ⚙ icon from the tool bar.
  2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Click Export to Excel.

For more information, please see this article: Export data, reports, lists, and more from QuickBooks Online.

Regarding your banking transactions, we can upload transactions to QuickBooks using a CSV file format. You can utilize this link for the detailed steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Otherwise, you can consider the suggestion provided by Fiat Lux - ASIA.

I'm also sharing this resource to help you navigate and learn the different features in QuickBooks: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online.
