Hi there, Siewcheng. When you downgrade your subscription, rest assured that all your data remains safe and intact. QuickBooks Online does not delete any data during a plan downgrade.
However, certain features and functionalities available in the Plus plan will no longer be accessible in the Essentials plan. While your data will remain preserved, tools, reports, and capabilities exclusive to the Plus plan will no longer be available after the downgrade.
Before downgrading, you’ll need to turn off Inventory tracking. Your inventory items will become inactive, and quantities will reset to zero, but the items themselves will remain in your system.
Additionally, Projects and Class tracking will not be available in Essentials. Though you won’t be able to access these features, your existing project and class data will remain stored in the background.
