Invoice format compliant with Singapore Tax requirement

Hi,  I need to format my invoice to show:

1.  Each Line item, the (1) Product Description, (2) Quantity, Price before GST Tax, (3) Total bef GST, (4) GST Tax amount, (5) Tot Amt aft GST.

2.   At the total invoice at the end, show:

      -  Invoice Total before GST

      - GST Amount (8% GST rate)

      - Invoice Total After GST

Current form subtotal cannot allow me to change description to Subtotal before GST and Total cannot be changed to Total Invoice after GST.    Appreciate your help to let me know how I can do it as our customers want to see the before GST amount, GST Amount and After GST amount and I cannot format the QB invoice to achieve this.   Hope someone can guide me

Invoice format compliant with Singapore Tax requirement

Good day, @listari.

You have put so much effort into customizing invoices, and we really appreciate it. I can see the importance of complying your customers’ requests and to Singapore Tax requirement.

You’re right, we’re unable to change the subtotal after selecting product/service and filling the form. There’s also no option to edit the total of your invoices according to before and after the GST. However, you can still modify the description even after the sum.

Once you’ve set your amounts as inclusive of tax, it will automatically compute the rate with the GST. That’s why we’re unable to show the price and their total before the GST Tax is applied. Otherwise, you select the exclusive of tax option.

As a workaround, you’ll want to consider importing custom form styles for your invoices in QuickBooks Online. This will allow you to create and design your template according to your preferences.

In case you need to edit the appearance of your sales forms, refer to this article: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online
