Hello!
I would like to have company logo in credit notes and statement of accounts. Is that possible?
TIA
Hi there, @AGNES1408. I'm here to share some information about adding a logo to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Follow along below to get this done right away.
In QBO, once you add a company logo on the Accounts and settings page, this will also appear when you print the credit note and statement of account. Let me guide you on how:
On the other hand, you can only upload logos for specific sales form templates such as the invoices, estimates, or sales receipts. For reference, feel free to visit this article: Add, customise, or remove logos on sales forms.
Additionally, I've attached this helpful resource that you can access for guidance in managing your customers in QBO: Add and manage customers in QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know how this goes and feel free to add updates about this. If you have further concerns about adding logo in QBO, simply leave a reply below. I'm always around and willing to help. Have a great week ahead and take care.
Thank you for your reply.
I tried, and successfully upload the logo on the company information. It is the same logo format that I had uploaded for the invoice template. But it does not appear when I create the credit note and statement. Is there any setting I need to do?
Hi there, AGNES1408.
I appreciate you for coming back to the thread and adding extra details about what you've done to achieve your goal. I'll ensure to share extra information and troubleshooting steps to successfully upload a logo to your credit note.
A well-designed and properly presented logo that uploads in QuickBooks helps establish the company's brand and personality. With this, there are no other settings that need to be set up other than adding a company logo on the Accounts and settings page to automatically appear on all your sales form.
Please know that the logo should be: a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file smaller than 10 MB24-bits or less in bit depth (or colour depth)square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work using the standard RGB colour space. Then, if your logo is CMKY-formatted, convert it into an RGB image using tools (such as Adobe Photoshop) before you upload it to QuickBooks Online.
If the issue continues to occur, I suggest logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. Then, access your credit note from there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue and ensure private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.
Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:
If it works in incognito, you'll need to clear the cache of your regular browser. This clears the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.
Lastly, you may refer to this article to see various details on how and when to offer a credit note or delayed credit to customers: Create and apply credit notes or delayed credits in QuickBooks Online.
Please keep me posted on how it goes and let me know in the comment if you have other concerns about adding a logo to your credit note. I'm always around to help, AGNES1408. Have a nice day!
Thanks for the update, @AGNES1408.
I'll share details as to why you're still unable to get your logo added in credit notes and statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and guide you in sending product recommendations.
For the time being, you're unable to use logos for statements, purchase orders, or credit notes in QBO. These forms only have the Standard template, which is the master sales form template. How they look will depend on what you edit in the master template. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.
Feel free to read this article for more details: Add, customise,or remove logos on sales forms.
On the other hand, I can see how the benefit of being able to have a company logo in credit notes and statements of accounts would aid you in managing your transactions with QBO. With this, I would encourage you to send suggestions or product recommendations. We take your suggestions as opportunities to improve the various features of our products.
Your valuable feedback will be forwarded and reviewed by our Product Development team to help improve your experience while using the program. Here's how:
