Hi !

I had issue a Invoice in MYR currency to customer, as usual, I can see the currency convert into SGD amount in the Invoice, but when I preview and save the PDF to send customer, it's doesn't show the two different currencies after convert. Previously had no problem on it. Please advise ......

Thank you.

Preview PDF in Invoice with foreign currency & converted into local currency view

Hi there, @Julie Lo1.

I understand how crucial it is to see the two currencies, and I'm here to help you resolve this matter.

Typically, you should be able to see the different currencies on the print preview page. Since it's missing, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this.

There are instances when the browser is full of commonly used page resources, which results in errors or odd behavior. Let's use a different or private browser to view your account. You can use any of these shortcut keys to access one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

Then, check the print or preview of your invoice. Once it shows both currencies, go back to your usual browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

I'm including this link to record foreign transactions easily without worrying about exchange rate conversions: Set up and use Multicurrency in QuickBooks Online.

If you have additional concerns about your invoices, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread. I'm here to assist in managing them in QBO.
