I can't search the list of Journal Voucher in the list format, previous I can do that, eg. If I specify CCWJV2309, all the JV start with CCWJV2309 listed out

Let me help you with searching the list of Journal Vouchers in QuickBooks Online (QBO), paulinetok.

We can log in to your account using an incognito browser. Private browser prevents saving cache and cookies that sometimes cause errors when running frequently visited websites. Here are the useful shortcut keys you can use to access one:

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome RCV_0-1699420941883.png

  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox RCV_1-1699420941794.png

     and Microsoft Edge RCV_2-1699420941794.png

  • Command + Shift + N for Safari RCV_3-1699420941801.png

If it works, return to your default browser and clear its cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. Switching to another compatible one to help rectify the issue.

Also, to search the journal voucher (also known as a journal entry voucher) in the search field, we'll need to follow some tips to appear on the results list. Here are the following:

  • Search for customerssupplierstransactionsreports, or accounts.
  • Search by nameaddressamount (S$340.00), date (DD/MM/YYYY), and more.
  • Type create to add a new invoice, expense, or any other kind of transaction.

However, if you type the usual format (as you mentioned) and the transaction you're looking for does not appear on the results list, then we can select the Advanced Search option. Here's how:

  1. Click the Search icon on the top menu.
  2. Tap the Advanced Search link.
  3. Adjust the filters to find the type of data you want. For example, use the following filters to find all transactions from the past 30 days with a value of S $100.
  4. Change Reference no. to Last Modified Date.
  5. Change Today to Past 30 Days.
  6. Tap Search. This should give you a list of transactions that meet your filter criteria.
  7. Narrow the list by changing the Last Modified Date to Amount. Choose Equals from the second ▼ dropdown menu, then type 100.
  8. Press Add Filter.

You can also customise your results by selecting the small Gear icon above the search results, then choose the columns you want to display. You can check out this article for more details: Search for transactions in QuickBooks Online.
