I'm starting with Quickbooks - I already have more than one year activity (meaning a balance and financial statement) - how and where can I insert last year's revenue?

Hello there, @emma23

I'm here to show you the quickest and best way to enter your financial records in QuickBooks Online. You can upload your file in QuickBooks to bring in all your transactions.

First off, go to your bank's website and sign in. Then, download the transactions into a CSV (comma-separated values) file. Once ready, follow these steps below with ease:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Import Data.
  3. Click on Bank Data.
  4. In Get your info from your bank option, click Browse to select a file to upload, then hit Next.
  5. Select the appropriate bank or credit card account then press Next.
  6. Map the statement fields according to your CSV file format then Next.
  7. Mark the checkboxes of the transactions to import and then Next.
  8. When prompted to import now, choose Yes, then Let's go!

Once finished, you're directed to the Banking window where the imported transactions are displayed in the For Review tab. You can now add them to your register.

Here's an article that provides more information on importing bank transactions using Excel CSV files

You can also connect your bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. It will help you download and categorizes your bank and credit card transactions for you automatically.

For future reference, learn about how to move your data to QuickBooks Online. It has answers to most common questions asked about importing data using the spreadsheet so you won't have to do it one by one.

Don't hesitate and reach back out if you have further questions. Have a beautiful day.
