How to link my external account

Hello there, @alissonheritage . I am pleased to assist you in helping you link your external account.

For me to be able to give you a more accurate and relevant resolution to your concern, can you please tell me the name of your bank? Additionally, could you describe the specific error message you receive after attempting to link your external account?

In the meantime, let's troubleshoot any issues with your bank, following the steps given below:

1.  Log in to your bank or credit card's website. If you can't sign in, contact your bank about the next steps.

2. Look for any messages, notifications, or alerts. This should tell you if something isn't working.

3. Review your account pages, account history, and transactions. If you can't see these, there may be a connection error.

If everything appears normal on your bank's end, I recommend proceeding to link the account using a private browser.

Refer to the shortcut keys on your keyboard below:

  • Google Chrome: CtrlShiftN
  • Mozilla Firefox: CtrlShiftP
  • Microsoft Edge: CtrlShiftN
  • Safari: CommandShiftN

After opening the incognito window, check if the middle name column is visible. If it appears there, switch back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This will give you a fresh start when accessing QuickBooks. Alternatively, you can try using a different supported browser.

Alternatively, you can manually upload your transactions from your bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online.

I’m also including these links for future reference in case you successfully link your bank to your QuickBooks account:
