I appreciate you sharing the steps you've done to get this working. Allow me to chime in and share some information about the issue you're getting in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Currently, our product engineers are still working regarding this odd behavior after upgrading to QBDT 2022. If you haven't contacted our Support team yet, I highly suggest you do so, so you'll be added to our notification list. This will also help our engineers determine the number of affected users.

An email notification will be sent to you once this has been resolved. I'll also inform you here when we get the update as well.
