Reports on a cash basis may vary from those available in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Iyamini2. However, accrual reporting data in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) ensures matches in QBO. I can include details to help you import files into the online version.

With QuickBooks Desktop US, all 2020 versions have already been discontinued. Access to QBDT payroll, payments, technical support, and other services won't be available.

That said, if you can still open the QBDT 2020 program, let's secure a backup copy of your data. However, if you don't have access to your account, move your desktop company file using the web-based migration. To do these:

1. Choose and open the online tool of your QBDT version.

2. Select Get Started, then sign in with your Intuit Account.

3. Click Select File and browse to the supported QuickBooks Desktop file you want to move. Then, Open to upload.

4. Once your file is uploaded, we’ll auto-update it to the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop. Next, you'll see an option to move to QuickBooks Online.

5. Once done, follow the on-screen instructions to guide you through the move to QBO.

Additionally, you can try the Free 30-day trial to help you get instant access to the program and restore your company data. You'll want to browse this link for more inputs: QuickBooks Online plans and pricing.

Furthermore, please know that some data doesn't move when converting your QBDT files to QBO. You'll want to learn the complete lists of features and data that move from the desktop to the online version. It includes details of how your books will convert when switching to a different QuickBooks version.
