the best solution for G&A Expenses ?

Dear QBO team 

good morning 
im still new in QBO still building the chart of account 
we are restaurant  and have many way to sell

i used location ( branch sales  , website sales )
and Classes for each branch ( Branch 1, 2,3,,,,) 

now for G&A ( head office ) we must make G&A as location or classes or without anything

 

in old accounting system we was used two kind of Exp account number for separate G&A exp and operation EXP 
like ( 1010 payroll Exp operation , 1020 payroll Exp G&A ) 
 

because i need to show the G&A exp in P&L in below after operation Exp 
to know each location and each classes profit and after that the whole company profit

I've got your back in setting up accounts to your chart of accounts so you can get started with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me guide you in creating your G&A Expense account.

 

First off, let's turn on the Account Numbers feature so you can associate a number to your G&A expense account. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Advanced menu.
  3. In the Chart of Accounts section, put a checkmark in the Enable account numbers and Show account numbers checkboxes.
  4. Select Save and then Done.

Once done, you can now create your G&A expense accounts.

 

  1. In your QBO account, click Accounting from the left menu and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the New button.1.PNG
  3. In the Account Type drop-down, select Expenses or Other Expense.
  4. Select the Detail Type from the drop-down.
  5. Enter the name of the expense, then indicate the number of the expense account.
  6. Click Save and Close.2.PNG

Once done, please repeat the steps to create your other G&A expense account.

thanks for quick response

i already use account numbers and i create all Exp 

but my problem with advance thing about the best way for G&A exp 


i need to make the G&A Location or classes ?
