Welcome to the Global QuickBooks Community!

Welcome to the Global QuickBooks Community your online hub for QuickBooks answers and connecting with other QuickBooks users all over the world.

If you’re new here, you might be wondering what the QuickBooks Community is all about. Read on to discover more about the QuickBooks Community, including how to get the most out of your Community experience. Plus, we’ll go over some basic do’s and don’ts.

Why we built the QB Community

Whether you’re a small business owner with big business dreams, or a bookkeeper or advisor trying to help your clients grow, we understand that a little help can go a long way. We also know that there’s a lot of conflicting information out there, which can be overwhelming and confusing.

That’s where we come in. We want to help you avoid information overload by quickly leading you to the answers you need. And we want to inspire you with the stories of other entrepreneurs and by connecting you with like-minded individuals.

The QuickBooks Community is where experts can share their knowledge with others  who need help with QuickBooks -- but it’s also where experts can come to learn from one another. In the Community, we value listening, learning, and exchanging ideas.

The Community is a supportive place

First and foremost, we support each other. Being an entrepreneur or small business owner isn’t easy, and we need each other’s help to be successful. In the QuickBooks Community, no question is a dumb question and no one person has the answers to everything. Here, we welcome all sorts of queries with open arms and open minds.

We encourage celebrating, commiserating and championing. We want you to feel comfortable and supported as you openly and honestly share the ups and downs of life as a small business owner or bookkeeper or advisor.

QB Community guidelines

We’ve put together a few Community guidelines that reflect our values. We appreciate every Community member remembering these rules while you’re here.

Do this:

  • Be yourself: Each individual is unique and we appreciate that! We encourage you to be your authentic, curious and honest self.
  • Tell your story: Whether you’re posting about an entrepreneurial high, struggling with business blues or something in between, let the community hear all of it.
  • Share what you know: Every question, idea or comment you contribute is a valuable part of our shared learning experience and helps us build our collective knowledge base.
  • Accept other points of view: Along the path of building a business it’s guaranteed that you’ll encounter a difference of opinion somewhere along the way. We’re committed to maintaining a respectful environment, whether we agree or disagree with someone else’s approach.
  • Voice your concerns: If a discussion topic, comment or post upsets you in any way, please reach out to the QB Community hosts straight away. To bring something to our attention, select the 3 vertical dots next to a question or comment. Then select the option to "Report Inappropriate Content".

Don't do this:

  • Engage in an unhealthy debate: All communication needs to be in the spirit of maintaining a safe and supportive community. We don't love (and won't tolerate) antagonistic critiques and personal attacks. If a post, comment or response doesn't help move a conversation in a positive direction, it will be removed.
  • Promote your business: We hope you’ll include a link to your business website and social media pages on your profile page. However, your QB Community profile is the only place for you to promote your business. Please don’t market your products or services - no matter how great they are - in any public posts.
  • Post sensitive information: Enough said. We value your privacy as much as you do!
  • Spread spam: Spam or mass marketing in any form is not permitted. Spam is intrusive and unprofessional, and it will be deleted immediately. Anyone who posts spam that’s malicious in nature will be permanently banned from the QB Community site.
  • Harass others or use profanity: Our site prohibits members from threatening, abusing or using any kind of insulting or demeaning language, including profanity. We will not tolerate behaviour towards or about another member that disrupts normal participation in anyway. We also won’t tolerate this kind of communication between members about another member.
  • Promote illegal conduct: Intuit and its related sites (including the QB Community) prohibit the promotion of illegal conduct, activities or fraudulent schemes on the site.

Any violation of the terms of service can result in a corrective action, from a gentle warning to a permanent ban from the community.

Build connections, share stories, learn something new and feel inspired.

Welcome to the Global QuickBooks Community!

Hello, @Rekha101.

As of now, we're able to add multiple clients to the ProAdvisor account as long as the QuickBooks region or country is the same. If you have clients in another country, you may need to subscribe to the QuickBooks Online Accountant the same country as your client.

You might check this article which you may find helpful in the future: Can I change the account's country?.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll be right here to help!

Welcome to the Global QuickBooks Community!

Thanks Angelyn,

I will try and see if I can subscribe in another country.

I do not if you can help me , I am having trouble entering transactions. I am not able to use down arrows to pick up supplier names or accounts.

I do not if it is an isolated issue?

Welcome to the Global QuickBooks Community!

I appreciate you getting back in the thread, @Rekha101.

I'd like to help you with your drop-down arrow issue.

We can isolate this issue using a private browser. This way, we can check if this unusual behavior is caused by stored data in your browser.

Depending on your browser, you may use these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL  Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL  Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: Press CTRL  Shift P
  • Safari: Press Command Shift N

Sign in to your account again using the private browser and check if you're able to enter your transactions. If it works, you can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.

You can also try logging in through another computer to check if you're getting the same issue.

For other helpful articles, you can refer to this link: Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted on how it goes. I'll be around if you need further help with your transactions.
